I shot this picture for my B&W 1 class. i think i was practicing DOF :-/ my instructor didn't give us any shooting assignments that semester so i pretty much had to make them up as i go.

interesting, something diff for a change :)

the DOF works well with the foreground being most in focus

i think if you made the back pipes (water) in focus in a diff one with the forground blurry would also look good.

The composition is actually very nice. DOF is good too.

i actually did take a shot where the bg was in focus and the foreground was blurred but out of the 2, i think this one was better o.O I have it scanned in if you would like to see it but i never took the time to edit it. i might and post it later.

I never thought I would have enjoyed pictures of some vent pipes so much. Its interesting and I have NO idea why! :)
