This was taken with my Nikon non slr 8800. 8mp. I don't have that camera anymore. I finally got a 20d but now I live in a new state so I never have anyone to shoot and it doesn't get nearly enough love!

Anyhow, I don't have any photo lights so I used normal household lights and taped rice paper to them to diffuse the light. I was just trying to see what I could do with light at home. Never used lights before, so it was a nice little experiment. (made me sweat like hell though!)

It's a self portrait. I know theres little spots on my face that are too white. It actually looks pretty terrible at work on this monitor but it looks nice at my house.

C&C please.
Tips on lighting would be nice too.

I can see it!

Well I like the image in general, there are a couple hot spots on the face that are a little distracting along with some of the marks on the wall. All in all nice.

I like the shot a lot... i like how it's framed; however, i don't really really like how the one hand, that is up holding her other hand, is placed. to me it doesn't really look right. also watch for the hot spots... although i doesn't look like u lost and pixels there so u might want to go back and try to burn them in but to be safe, i would underexposed 1/2 or 1 full stop just to make sure u don't lose any highlight detail.
