I think if we moved the classifieds to their own thread style classification system like Fredmiranda.com or potn we might be able to get more traffic in here. I would totally be happy to see a nice flow of new people come for the classifieds. This will also catch alot of new contributing members also.

we should see what POTN and FM do that could be improved and make that improvement for FF and then we can be one of the top sites for classifieds also.

sounds lame but it will get things going here.


I knwo one thing that sucks about FM is that you have to be a paying member (yearly membership) to sell stuff. That is really ****ty.

Nikonians is only really nikon classifieds

POTN is really only canon classifieds with uptight anal moderator (cyberdime systems).

photocamel classifieds is virtually dead like ours because it is in a strange format like ours.

DWF for sale forums are great just like POTN and FM because they follow the same style.

DigitalGrin for sale forums are the same as DWF, POTN, and FM, and they do good on their forums.

I've often thought that as well. I suppose the reason it's not right out there is that we don't prefer that it become a main point of the forum. I'd rather see people learning than buying. I do get what you're saying, though. I'll pass it along. :D

I think the mods here are awesome! :) I also think they are probably more worried about getting some traffic. I often wondered why we have so many members with so few posts.
