I shot with her on 11/10. She's very uniquelooking. I wanted her to be doll like.

(amazingly she's SO very different looking in person)

Found her on Model Mayhem here (http://modelmayhem.com/member.php?id=253274)

I changed them all a lot. She has natural red (orange) hair.

This is my fav so far but I have a set taken in her basement which I have yet to edit.

This one I'm just kind of proud of because of all of the work I had to do on her face..

And this one is digitally hand colored. Just playing. The bw probably looks better.

Check this out, I found it after I shot her and though it totally described her personality!

She went to school for film.it's worth a peek! (http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=2016917683)

i would have to say i like the first one and last. i would like the second one if her hand wasn't crouped out... probably should of had her bring it in more and the funny bands of gray at the top and bottom. your images tend to have a very mechanical feel to them due to the overly sharp look to them and the amount of rendering to them... however, it works for your style. there are some other small details i notice that are somewhat distracting but other than that i think you did an excellent job. i really like the vivid colors in the fist one and the hand color look of the third one.

i cropped the second one down. her hands were included but i didn't want all of them. i knew cutting fingers in half would be bad. but man! i had to.

i dont know what you mean by overly sharp. i only sharpen when i make web sized images and i always make sure to not do it too much with the unsharp mask. never over 30 on .7. it's to much? is it my monitor?

yeah i can't say i agree with the cutting of the fingers lol I'm guilty of it too though...

you're doing HDR with your images huh? HDR images tends to increase the contrast so much that it gives it the mechanical feel i was talking about by making the image look somewhat overly sharp (not saying its always bad) and gives unnatural highs and shadows information... i tend to find HDR portraits can go a little to far and takes away from the photograph, but like i said be4 u did a great job with it, if indeed these are HDR. your models tend to have this glow which is very beautiful. unsharp mask never hurts anything... if u use bicubic sharper when u reduce the size, u wouldn't need to use unsharp mask.

ps. i don't know if u noticed that there is lipstick on your model's teeth o.O?

lol oh okay... i was looking at it and i was like, did she mean to have the lipstick on her teeth o.O? lol but yeah do bicubic sharper when reducing your image to save to the web... saves you a step :-)

Nothing short of exceptional! There is not more I can say, they all have what I call "cannibalized appeal". Your work is very close to one of my favorite photographers. Look here:

Thanks for the link to joey L. He is incredible as well, a perfect example of how the rules of photography are broken everyday with incredible results! I wish I had this vision.
