Dead Bird

This was a shot I took at my friends apartment in a dorm room, his room is on the inside of a huge building in center city and there is a roof but is completelly surrounded by walls and window. Problem is all the windows are sealed because its a college dorm but yet his window is not so he held it open for me while i jumped out on the roof hoping no one would see me to shoot this dead bird that had been laying there for quite a while. I decided to include a reflection of the building in the puddle it laid in for I thought it was a good representation of the birds death and how we all can never seize to escape it, it will come one day. A bit dark but I like it. As far as editing I didnt do much and that weird glow on the wings and such was natural.

thats cool how you included the building and explained the meaning. i mean, ive seen birds die from flying into windows so that building could very well have been the cause of the little birdies death. it's just this huge ominous thing. sad that it's in a puddle too. not only is it dead but now its poor body is in a sick puddle.

i say lets make stew... i mean we're all just staring at the poor thing... so lets eat it :D lol i joke i joke. but seriously... i dunno about this one... i mean it's fun to look at... the bird looks like it is still in the sky but it's one the ground in water... but dead birds laid out in the street makes my tummy hurt :-(
