I was actually recruited on here by Steve himself, so I actually feel special in a way.
Anyway, my name is Nick. As you probably see in my signature, I shoot with Canon equipment. I'm primarily a landscape photographer, but I'll shoot an occasional wedding (for friend's, nothing serious). I have been into photography for about six years now. Started with Nikon film SLR's (N65), then moved onto numerous digital p&s cameras before I bought my first DSLR (D70). In a way, photography is a hobby in which i can express myself with my eye rather through spoken words. I love nothing more than after a hard day of class or work to go out to somewhere peaceful with my camera, and just shoot away.
That was a pretty long intro, so I'll stop there. I frequent POTN and FM forums, but I hope to get to know a lot of you on here, especially with sharing ideas and photographs with each other.
