I have always been fascinated with Japanese beauty and fashion editorials, specifically those we see in Kyoto-based fashion magazines. I tried my hand at the messed up hair look with washed out details in the background using available light. Care for some C&C?

I love your treatment of the image. Generally, you want to try to not let the nose break the plane of the face - makes the nose look smaller. If you're going to have both eyes showing, then show both eyes, but the half-eye bugs me a little. She's a beautiful woman and I'd love to see more!

I like the shot, I think the only thing that bugs me is the hair in the face. Specific to the one across the forehead.

Hi Hikari, thanks for the tip. The intention was to show a little bit of her right eye to lead the viewer's eyes in there and wonder... what is she thinking? Is she really dreaming?
