Pissy rant...

So i took my Girl and gher 2 sons (Ages 28 and 19, the 19 yr old has CP) to there first ever pro wrestling match saturday night. 5 hr drive 1 way for us, fuel, hotel, food for 4 people.....it prolly cost me over 500$ total to do this. They had a great time. Me, not so great.

I went to walk thru the ticket and was stoped by security, they wanted to check my bag, my camera bag. I let them, at which point i was told i was not allowed to carry that sort of camera inside, i was only allowed to carry and use one of the little cigarette pack size camers. Several others with nice camers were told the same thing. Apparantly it is up to WWE as to what sort of camers are allowed. I was very upset. All i wanted was to practice taking pics of some ring action.

Though the event it self was fun, it has left something of a stain in my mind to not be allowed to take my beloved canon in with me. =( Poor thing had to sit in the cold trunk all night.

A lot of venues do not allow what they call "professional" cameras. :(

Yes , If you Precall the venue you can find this out. That is if a person picks up the phone.

Apparantly the venue facilities (which provide the security) wasnt even aware of this until the night of the event.

i carry a press pass which virtually alloows me access to use my camera anytime...you can make one yourself...it is just an all access pass to events you don't need to make it specific for the event as most security gaurds don't stop to ask questions they see the pass and say go ahead...try it it works...though i am known at most of the events anyway so that helps also...
