Not very good Miller? Are you serious? I think it's a ripper!

lol.. I've been having a look at this one, and everytime i look at the white lighter bits, i keep thinking they're street lights (like you would see on a shot away from earth) LOL

I do like it though...

haha i know. and its funny how it looks like its divided into segments.. reminds me of a "Terrys White Chocolate Orange" :D

I want to get the adapter to hook the camera to a telescope and get more shots through the telescope.

awww yeh! that would be cool! mate, imagine how close your shots would be!?!?!!

how much is it to get that sort of thing done? is it a lot of money? or just a pain to hook up? either way... you would have some awesome images through a telescope...

I was looking at a telescope in a catalogue this morning and having a giggle about somethign on that page, but it stated that it's 525 X zoom... that's huge!

You will be able to see Pluto if you're doing that!

i havn't looked into deeply yet, but i know you can get a adapter off ebay for about $45 but not sure if you can use any lens like a 200mm lens or have to use like a 18-55 or something..

I was just trying to locate some of my old "moon shots" taken with an ameteur telescope and a Canon A20 point and shoot, no special adapter. They really filled the frame with only a 3/4 moon. I couldn't get the whole thing in the frame. If I find them I'll post a couple.

sounds good. My best friends brother has a telescope that he hasnt touched in like 5 years. and i know its a strong one, his parents paid like $800 for it when they bought it. I know the point and shoot cameras you can usly put the lens upto the eye piece with no problems cause of their infinity focus. there is other adapters out there that allow you to use a lens yo have on the telescope, but there is also adapter tubes that connect directly from the camera to the telescope with no lens..

I think I remember reading somewhere that the 20d has an adaptor for astrophotogrphy. Not really sure as it was not something I was really into.

Anyway, the moon shot came out pretty nice. I did one with the bigma when I had it that came out pretty cool. I just cant seem to find it right now! :)
