Ok well since this place is new I thought I would just put a question out there. What does everyone shoot? I do mostly portraits for my business but enjoy doing macro (which I am not that good at) and street shooting for my own interests.

I can shoot anything i can, but i would say my most common items lately have been more macro related, i am aiming to get into people, but just havent taken the step yet! Doing alot of reading up so far.

I like portraits the most. But I recently moved to another state and haven't made any friends to shoot so I haven't done any (aside from self portraits, blah) in quite a while. So lately I've just been doing street stuff, it's not nearly as fun.

My first love is shooting people, but since I am not a fashion or glamour photography I spend a lot of my free time shooting architecture, cityscapes and urban photography.

I like shooting Portraits, I prefer low-key portraits though and I also like shooting still-life and artistic nudes... pretty much anything that gets me in the studio ^_^

I mainly shoot people, as I own a studio. I love shooting people. However, I do a mix of tratitional portraiture, weddings, sports and commercial work. I also do fine art prints in my minimal free time!

Most of my work is digital, however, I still shoot medium format film and chrome in the studio and for some commercial work. Once film is developed, we scan and work if digitally.

My studio is located in Texas City, TX (Yup, same place as the BP Boom-Booms!) and about 15 minutes from Galveston, TX. (Houston)

I look forward to being apart of a new forum, and watchin it grow, while learning and sharing some knowledge.

I shoot mainly portraits. I love shooting wrestling shots, but haven't done it for quite some time. I have done a few weddings and would like to keep it that way. I am trying to get into mainly pets at the moment. Seems to be a lack of that in my area.

I shoot anything that comes along. I run a digital lab in a portrait studio, i'm basically a printer. I run all the printing that takes place in the studio, and yes, that includes a real enlarger with a Hope processor. But on the weekends I shoot weddings and of course the ladies.

Duderton...you are becoming a rare bird indeed. Most professional labs no longer print optically. They scan and print digitally. I just moth-balled my color processor and Hope. You don't even want to know what become of the Hope.

Well about myself, I'm interested in fashion or glamour photography, always.

I shoot whatever comes in my mind, but usually I prefer landscapes as they are the most patient subjects (they won't move in millions of years!), and even if it sounds contradictory wildlife and generally animals, aircraft, helicopters and generally action shots. Sometimes I shoot portraits of my sis who happens to be a model. I hate weddings and glamour photography, I don't like macro so much.

I thought this was going to be an equiptment thread. :)
My current interest is in street portraits and Holga/Pinhole/Toy "formal" portraiture.

Oh I do weddings, stage photography, portraits, etc. Personally, I'm a fan of landscapes and wildlife, but that's not what people pay me to shoot. ;)

Pretty shoot anything I can too. Mainly trying to focus on provocative portraits and some industrial city scapes.

I'm a commercial photographer by day and a wedding, portrait, event photographer by night and weekend and I've recently jumped into glamour photography as a side passion.

I'm also into Urban decay, but i've done alot of other work too. I can't really subject myself just to one topic, I like to move around and try different things.

I would love to be a bum and just shoot all day every day going wherever I wanted to. There are so many beautiful places in this world, I'm afraid I won't get to see them all. Living in Arizona is a start for me though, lots of things close. I end up shooting a lot of Architechture and street stuff, but love macro and especially dead trees. Yeah, it sounds wierd but I dig it.

I primarily shoot landscapes and cityscapes. Although I recently shot a friend's wedding, and would like to do more of that. I'd love to photograph people more, but my family and girlfriend really don't like the camera pointed in their direction. I think I'll just stick with landscapes and an occasional wedding for now.
