I posted this image here and a few other place and everyone said it was way too much foreground in front of her:

Unfortunately that was the whole image. Since I agreed I went ahead and cropped some of the bottom off. The panaramic look wasnt working for me so I decided to give a try at merging two images into one. I took a picture of the sunrise that morning and figured what the heck. Here are the results, honest opinions please.

Also I would like to know everyone's thoughts on this. Is this over the top post processing and in anyway dishonest or lacking integrity? Or is it ok to do whatever needs to be done to get the image?

I like what you did with the second image. The first one was a little bland, and too centered. The post-processed one looks natural, and cuts off some of the extra shadows that were on the bottom of the first image. I dig it.

i dont mind the foreground, but alot of people seem to think too much foregrouns is bad cause some class said so,

for me, they are both great, with the sun in it, it is nice, but always takes away your attention from the beautiful woman on the beech!

Very well done, I think that it works very well for this image.

I think it looks great, but if you told me it was a back drop and not a true sunrise I would believe you. It just looks too perfect. Good job.
