I did this shoot a few months ago... I usually don't do black and white conversions and this is one of my first tries.

I like the shot but there is this strange spot at the top of his head... like a light or something o.O it's not big, but it's enough to where my eyes goes straight to it. other than that it has nice tonal range and it was composed very well.

He was standing in the shade of a tree and the light was peaking through the leaves in spots. It seemed like a good idea at the time! :)

turned out nice, but i think his shirt could be darker......

It always bugs me trying to make a color digital shot look like a self processed chemical BW. I never get the tones right.
