Hey guys, just wanted to share a few snaps from my wedding (actually a renewal of vows...they'd gotten married a couple days earlier..this was for the family) this past weekend. It was quite the affair. I got there 3 (yes, three) hours early, and it still went to h-e-double-toothpicks. I was asked to get there at 1, so I got there at noon to check out locations. This was because the groom was a guy I went to school with, and he gave me a buzz and asked if I could shoot his big day. Well, I hadn't met with them, had no idea who the "misses" was, where it was going to be, etc. I was completely in the dark. So, I headed up, and like I said, started looking for locations. Found probably 5 good spots, and remembered them. Even went and took practice shots with my assistant for lighting. 1 rolls around, and I ask the M.O.B. "hey, is trisha almost ready?" because she wanted me early to get some of the bride by herself just for her. She says "nah...trish isn't here yet" (oh, NICE). I sat down for the next hour, because nothing was going on. She comes out (the bride) and I say "all set?" and she says "nah, we're gonna wait until after we eat for the pictures"Oh well. So I go back to check a location, and there he is...the "uncle bob" having people PARK CARS ON MY LOCATIONS!!!! So, I was left with one, yes one, location. I would have liked to do some fun stuff in the forest behind their house, but the bride didn't want to get her dress dirty.
So anyway, here's some snaps from a s***ty day!
and my favorite....the "best man":
here's one I just kinda liked...calmed me down when I was stressed out. lol
