Thread: DxO Optics Pro - Anyone??

  1. DxO Optics Pro - Anyone??

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this software? A friend of mine just received a copy through his work and he is raving about it. I am heading over to his place tomorrow after work to check it out. I was just wondering if anyone here has any experience with it??

  2. So this is considered an alternative to Photoshop?

  3. It is not an alternative to Photoshop but it is camera and lens specific. I don't know all the workings but you can go to their website and download a trial version.

I have not used this but it looks interesting. I am a huge fan of working with camera RAW and make all the adjustments I can there before loading into PS. I often find that once I have tweaked an image in RAW there is very little else that needs to be done. Any software that helps with that process is a welcome addition in my book.

  5. What did you think after getting to play with the program?
