Thread: Online Labs

  1. Online Labs

What online photo labs do you guys use, if any?

I personally use mpix. I've been using them for about six months now, and everything has just been perfect whenever I order from them. I know there is WHCC, but I have never tried them. I heard they are pretty good as well from word of mouth.

  2. I am just an ameteur so I usually us walmart or the such. I dont think any lab can help my photos!

  4. I used to work for Ritz and would print out all my stuff for free there. Though I'm not a huge fan of their Fuji Frontier machines that they use. Though if I needed something printed out quickly, I would go there, but anything else I would go through mpix.com

John, I'm not a professional or anything. I guess I just like quality. I have heard that Wal-Mart also uses Fuji Frontier machines, so the quality can't be all that bad anyway.

  5. I order all my prints through smugmug which holds my website. They use a company called EZ Prints as they state in their FAQ. I ordered a couple 11 X 14 prints from mpix and more than a couple from smugmug aka ez print and I think they were equal. I like smugmug better ONLY because they are at my house about 4 days faster.

  6. we us the Agfa D-Lab 2 o.O a million times better than Fuji Frontier... just wanted to plug that in there lol. i'll have to find out the online site my friend uses... they are local in jersey and she seems to be really happy with them.

  8. H & H Color Lab is a Great Lab also. They are located in Southern Missourri. The link is www.hhcolorlab.com

  9. I like to use a local professional photography shop, they have an online service they use called "Express Digital"

although i use the service, it's for the convenience of ordering. I like the personal relationship I have with the people there who do the printing. When I set up the account, we discussed what I was after in my prints, worked out the bugs, and now I get results I am extremely happy with all the time. Convenience of online ordering, PLUS personal service from people I've dealt with for over 15 years!
