Thread: Model release and such

  1. Model release and such

So far I have only taken photos of friends or of inanimate objects, all for free and for portfolio use. I was contacted by some one to do some pin up style photography for her. I need a document stating that I can use the photos for whatever I see fit. Also, since the photos may end up being adult in nature, I need something basically stating that she is 18 years old at the time of the shoot. Is there any form letter or location that I can get something like this, or do I need to come up with them on my own?

    Yes, you need both.

Check out the micro-stock site www.talkmicro.com. They routinely discuss matters of this nature and someone has probably posted a generic form or link to one in one of the business related threads.

    Good luck.
