Thread: Help with printing.....

  1. Help with printing.....

I attend many classic rock concerts with a very good friend, and shoot them whenever I can score a photo pass. We went to see Eric Burdon this past summer, and my friend has asked me for a particular close up shot (that I do not particularly like).

He wants an 8 x 10 to hang in his game/music room.

My question...the photo measures 3072 x 2048 pixels. What do I have to do to resize the photo to print an 8 x 10. I figured I would resize and PP a little, then print it at home or Walgreens before sending to MPIX for a good copy.

I don't print many photos, or have requests to do so. Any help would be appreciated.

you can resize in inches so you don't have to remember the px sizes... go into image size and just punch in 8 for width, and the hight will change automatically... set it to bicubic shaper since you're going to be making it smaller. the decimal that'll show up in the image size will let you know how much will crop off... lol i know non of that made sense. if u want i can resize the photo for you and send it back... since that is pretty much one of the things i have to do at my job.
