Thread: What's the favorite item in your bag?

  1. What's the favorite item in your bag?

Wanted to get some movement here........

Let's forget about the cameras and lenses. Besides that...... what is the most used item in your bag. Filters? Meter? Calibration? Support? Image Bank? Diffuser? Etc.

In my case...... I would have to say it's my tripod head...... I use a Markins head. It's a high end ball head that allows for fluid adjustment yet allows me to let go and leave the camera at any point. It's completely adjustable and allows me to mount anything from the 200mm and body to the 50mm and body with no difference in adjustability.

Let us know....... everyone.... c'mon spill the beans...... let me know where I should next spend my money!

  3. Favorite + Most used item...?
    Without a doubt!

    But aside from camera...... humm....

    EPSON P-4000 - Card Reader + 80gig Hard Drive

Not really my favorite item, but it has saved my butt a few times. I have 4 different camera bags that I use for different situations, and I always keep at least a two 2 gig cards in each bag. I do this for a backup, so if I forget my memory card holder I at least have some kind of memory to use! Well once I searched my bag and I had NOTHING! I was shooting at UPENN and I was on the verge of freaking out! So I ran over to ritz, bought an overpriced 2 gig cards and whenever I had a break I would dump the images on my portable hard drive! Thank god for the hard drive, would have had to buy two or more memory cards without it. Also it's good for travel, In a few months I have an event to cover in Montana and coming up even sooner I have an event in Texas. Having this will save me from lugging my laptop around!

It has a 3.5" LCD that is the perfect size, and the image quality is truely AMAZING!
Clients are always impressed when they can instantly see their images on this little guy!

    Most used item?
    Besides 1D + 70-200 + CF/SD Cards would have to be um...
    - 77mm B+W CP filter.
    - 580exII flash
    - Pocket Wizzards
