Canon 600mm Lens FELL IN WATER!!!!!

This is pretty old, but I just remembered about it when i came across a thread here about renting lenses.

Probably a paper weight or a table lamp. jk jk it's probably in the trash can at canon factory

I think it was insured though so it's all good (i think).
The owner of the lens runs the lens rental company "borrowlenses.com".

On their site you can rent this lens for a week for only $347!!!

I think you can rent this lens at calumet cheaper, I believe I remember savona and quaziphoto rented one a year or so ago.

not sure of the details but that's what it says on the site.
Might have to put credit card up for collateral or something.
And as you can see from the image above, getting the insurance is a good idea....
