  2. SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!!!
Love the sharpness and detail in every part of the photo!!!

    Can you tell us details?
    Camera - Lens
    Shutter - aperture - ISO
    Canon 1D Mark III -- Canon 5D
    L Lens Travel Kit = 70-200 f/2.8L IS · 24-70 f/2.8L · 16-35 f/2.8L
    Non-L Primes = 15mm Fisheye · 50 f/1.4 · 85 f/1.8 · 100mm Macro
Alienbees lights (6) + Ringlight + Vagabond II
    Nikon SB28 (3) · Nikon SB80DX (1) · Canon 580EX (2) · Pocket Wizards (7)

  3. Camera: Nikon D200
    Lens:
    Nikkor Micro 60mm f2.8
    Aperture:
    3.2
    ISO: 320
    Shutter: 1/60

Adamus sharpening technnique used. Size image to 2x final size, apply sharpening filter 3x, then resize to final image size.

  4. I have to look into this adamus sharpening technique.
    have any tips for me?

  5. Aside from the Adamus technique (which is ridiculously easy, and has tremendous results for anything that is intended for web)... The black and white conversion is use is:

    1. Gradient Map Layer
    2. Channel Mixer
    - monochrome
    - constant at -10%
    - reds at 75%
    - adjust blue and green channels as desired to get the high contrast look.

Try this, try it without the channel mixer, and compare that to grayscale/desaturation + contrast boosts, and pick what looks best.

  6. Damn! The detail is like in HD or bluray...Fantastic! You ROCK!
    I'm not a Rebel...My Camera is

  8. This is awesome and captures the green iguana personality. I owned two large iguanas for about 5 years (Roman and Ella). Great detail and awesome B&W conversion. Nice shot!
