a lot of emotion! Nice shot, its a shame there was a tad more light

  3. Actually, there was a little more light, but I edited it this way. Kind of a personal taste thing, I guess...I try to isolate performers so as to focus on particulars, in this case, the howling vocals and intensity. I find a lot of times that details in the background in this kind of imagery can sometimes be chaotic and distracting. Also, and I don't know if this is just me or not, but whenever I post an image in this forum, it looks somehow flatter, has less contrast, and loses tone compared to the image I am viewing in my Photoshop window. Curious as to anyone else noticing this?? I am using Adobe RGB colourspace.

  4. I love it and I think the color (purplish tint) brings out the emotion even more! Powerful image!

  5. Love the pic. Try converting to sRGB before you upload. I saw video that said most websites are not color managed and that sRGB is the most popular color space. May or may not make a difference. I usually do that to all of mine before I upload. You may want to make a copy before you convert to keep the original.

  6. Looks like it was converted for me, automatically...I compared the adobe rgb image on my screen to the one one the monitor, and they were different...but when I converted my adobe rgb image on my monitor in PS, to sRGB, they were identical. Has those bright patches around his hair and hat, flat look to it...nothing like the adobe rgb image. Thats why I prefer the adobe rgb colourspace, I use it on my website, and when I print. Thanks for the suggestion!
