Could not get into the actual room where this window was. I had to shoot through some bars. Kept trying to use a straightening tool to make sure picture did not look crooked. I just could not find a straight line in that old building that I could trust.

  3. Everything looks good ^way. Straight lines on a round object is kinda hard don't you think. Just one of those things that make me go hmmmmmmmmmmm.

  4. I like the way you captured this scene, Highwayman. B&W is perfect for the mood it creates.

What post processing application are you using for straightening? If it's Photoshop, you can check 'Prospective' while using the crop tool, then drag the corners. But sometimes you have to pick what looks to be the most straight line, and just go with it. I think you've done very well with this image, and it is probably as straight as you can get, considering the various angles.

  5. Thanks for the comments. I see something and think that there is a photo there, but I am still working on how to capture what I see in my mind's eye and capture that with the camera. I am using paint shop pro x2. I used the straighten tool but the building was so old I one thing looked straight then something else looked crooked. Just had to pick the lesser of 2 evils.
