  2. I like the second one, and you know people are gonna tell you the toe is cut off right?

    Nice captures, do you have a flash? Pop some on them for fun next time!

    Flash would help with the shadows. Nice pictures though sharp images freezing the action

    I did a little sports photography in my younger years and was never very good at it. A lot of it had to do with the fact that I wasn't doing a lot of it. Getting good at sports photography takes constant practice to get the timing down, to learn exactly when to press the shutter. I have the highest respect for those who do it well.
    What I can tell you is that both of these are taken a hair early. Take the second shot; in another fraction of a second her butt will clear the bar telling us she has cleared it, her right hand will extend below the cross bar and her left hand will come down to her belly making a beautiful arch from extended hand to knees. The good news is, however, that with a little practice you will get this every time.
