Bummer on the stroke. My wife is a nurse and she tells me that can really mess up your life. However, photography may be just what you need. Sometimes when parts of our brain are effected we learn to use other parts in new ways. You may well find that with patience and perseverance you can make your camera speak for you with eloquence. I wish you the best. Remember, we are always here to help is you get stuck.

By the way, 'tags' have to do with search engine optimization. Google looks for them when they do a search on a particular topic. If you submit a photo and add tags "polar bear, snowstorm, North Pole" search engines will put your image near the top for people who put that in their search box. So, tag...your it!

  3. Welcome to the forum Mike. I feel for you about your health issues, my uncle had gone through the same thing. Don't let it get you down, you can work through it and have a great life. My uncle is almost FULLY recovered after some good therapy. Maybe talking and sharing photography can be a form of therapy?

Fibonacci correctly explained what tags are, so all thats left for me to say is WELCOME!

  4. Well lets hope the photo/art side is going strong for you and remember. "If you like it F everyone else." It will be great for you to do something you like. The key thing is if it make you smile, and if we post anything here about your work it is just something we think might help you. It does not mean it will or that this is the only way.
