Cycle Symphony
I was leaving an art show near the University of Florida when I stumbled across this scene. I am not sure what drew me to it but I knew I loved the late afternoon light, the humor of having a lowly scooter between two very powerful motorcycles, and the repetition of elements.
I should give a word of explanation. I used to shoot a lot of weddings where I always had a star cross filter on the front of my lens. It would protect the delicate glass of the lens in emergencies and made candles look amazing. I still use one from time to time if I am running short of a UV filter and that was the case on this day, which is why the highlights in this image have that starlight effect. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but you take what you can get.
