What I like about this shot is the ambiguity. It is nearly impossible to tell whether this scene is over water of snow which leaves room for our imaginations to insert alternate possibilities of meaning. We don't often find that kind of thing as photographers but we need to make the most of it when we do.
Again, a little time in PS could make a huge difference in the way this image looks. I spent just a few minutes with this and here is my suggestion. I think you have the makings of something truly strange and wonderful here.
