Fed up with stupid people

This is a post from a board I moderate, but since it has a nice picture I thought I would cross post it hear.


I had about enough of the stupid people asking me stupid things at work so the wife and I took Friday off from work and flew away.
The wife said I bit off her head on Friday morning for some reason (I am sure she deserved it), and she dreaded going away with me after I was mean to her, however she said when I climbing into the pilot seat and said "Prop clear", according to her the stress melted away. I don't know about all of that, but the flight was one of those flights you dream about. Just a couple of puffy clouds for you to play with on a smooth flight; no tail wind, but no head wind either, just cruising slowly along at 135KTS (155mph!) and having a ball.
Got to work on my rudder work just a little coming in over the ocean (breeze and such) and had one of those landings that was just perfect. My wife was asking when are the wheels touching down, aren't you floating a long time?
I got to tell her, "no dear we touched down about 1000 ft ago, I am just letting her roll out. The reason the yoke is pulled back is to let the airplane slow down on her own." She than told me that she has never experienced a landing that smooth in her life. (I am not sure that is a compliment or not)
When walking into the fbo guess what? We found out there is a large flyin going on this weekend (quite a few airplanes were already there when we landed). I may just have to crash their event Heck I didn't even know the event was here! Surely they won't mind another pilot joining them, right?
Then I woke up this morning, looked out the window and said wow. Of course I had to take a picture.

I realize that yes this country may be falling apart quite quickly but today I have the freedom and the ability to enjoy flying and spending it with my family! I recommend you all doing the same, we may lose one those things we take for granted like health, freedom, family, or aviation. Then all we will have is regret!
So what is the action item to take away from this little message?
Go fly! Get off the computer and go fly!
Hate to run, but I have a beautiful woman who wants to go walking on the beach, and while I may be a slow redneck from SC I know that a beautiful woman wins 100% over the computer every time!

Here here, I think if you want to be an A Hole that is fine but don't take someone with you. Pissed at the Boss Shoot yourself in his office but DON"T SHOOT HIM. Carma is a wonderful thing.
