    I needed a small "pocket" camera to carry around and take quick photos of various things. I looked at many of the P & S models listed and several others. The one I picked was the Olympus Stylus 770 SW, 7.1 MP, @3.5" x 2.25" x .75", decent sized LCD, takes fantastic photos PLUS it is water proof up to 33 Feet (I have had it in the Gulf of Mexico several times) and shock proof.

    Great little do-it-all camera that is easy to carry and operate. My only complaint is that it uses XD Card and I HATE those little postage stamp size cards!

    I recently upgraded mine to an SD800IS. I don't like the look of the flash on a P&S, so I wanted something with IS. Works like a charm!
