I'm still waiting for the 5D replacement to be released, so 5D prices drop, and I can actually afford one!

If you can come up with $1800 by Jan 13 you can have a brand new 5D (after rebates). That's pretty affordable if you ask me. My problem with the 5D is that pretty soon after the rebates end I'm sure the price of this camera will probably be down to around $1800 without rebates...

I'm not down about it, I actually got my 30D for 800 funny as that is. It was refurbished. Plus its my first DSLR so its something to get started on and really learn how to work my way around these kinds of cameras. It was pretty intimidating at first I'll have to admit.

Yea no doubt, I wouldnt worry about it. You got a great deal. I'm thinking that the 30d will stay around the $750-$800 range for a while. If you look you see guys with 20d's struggling to get rid of them for $650! That's just sad because like 30d's the 20d is a great camera.

Me.. I'm stupid I got my first 30d brand new when it was released. Yep $1350, now they're sellign new for $1000, uh oh, time to sell quick before I can only get back half of what I paid.

Yeah i'm about to unload my 5D. It already lost $300 worth of value since I bought it.




I hate buying camera bodies.......
