Anyone selling a 20D or 30D?

I was going to wait but I really need a DSLR for my photography classes. b&h is selling one for $713 used o.O but i wont be able to afford that until after i get my income tax return and that may not be until march o.O and really all i can afford is a payment plan at the moment and b&h wont approve me for the payment plan they have so i'm kinda screwed :-( can anyone help me out?

Did you apply through Bill-Me-Later or PayPal on B&H's web-site. I know both of them offer financing. However, Bill-Me-Later has outrageous interest rates if you don't pay off the bill within the interest free grace period. I am not sure of PayPal's interest rate either.

Have you tried Calumet Photo? I know they have their own fiancing program. But again, check the interest rates, they could be extremely high, and not worth getting if you don't plan to pay it off within the interest free period.

yeah i tried the bill-me-later and chase turned me down... chase is the bank for that :-( and i asked b&h about paypal and they said you had to pay all at once. o.O so i dunno.

i haven't tried calumet photo... but i will check them out.

Do you have any other credit card accounts open through Chase? I used Bill-Me-Later on B&H when I purchased my 20D last Christmas. That's when they offered six months no interest.

You can also try Dell. They have their own fiancing as well. But you probably will only find a 30D on there now.

Chase and I aren't on good terms... they are the only company i'm having problems with right now.

I thought you already got yourself a 30d?

I still have a 30d that I'm looking to get rid of and I am fine with working out a payment plan.
I will even ship it off to the repair center to be tuned up so you'll have a basically new camera by the time you have it paid off.
But I definately don't think I'd be willing to let my 30d go for only $713 though!!

For the payments, I would just put the money aside incase you changed your mind in the future.
